His untimely death on that dark game night in San Pedro sent chills and shockwaves throughout the city and nation.

In 1975, An All-American UCLA Track & Football Star and NFL Chicago Bears Wide Receiver " Ron Copeland Sr." died of a heart attack while running track at Mt.Sac. His sudden death raised questions that didnt have any answers. He was 28 years old.
